The International Standards Organization visited the school on Aug 10, 2018, represented by the Global Group Auditors: Ms. Loyda Amor Cajucom, Ms. Ma. Cristina Corral, and Dr. Rizza Balaganon; to audit ISO - 9001:2015 level. They were welcomed by the Executive Director, the respective heads, and the members of the faculty and staff. First Friday Several activities were held on July 6, 2018. The morning program included the First Friday Mass, the welcome speech of the Executive Director, Atty. Romeo Vicente P. Sta. Ana, and the General Orientation for new Senior High School and College students, where the members of the Board of Trustees, Faculty, and Staff were introduced, as well as the guidelines, rules and regulations from different offices. In the afternoon, there was a visit from the Presidential spokesperson, Mr. Harry Roque, and a volleyball clinic facilitated by foreigner coaches and players. The Executive Director welcomes the new students who trusts and chooses CSAV to be their second home. Mrs. Demonteverde, the IS and SHS principal, gives her welcome speech. River Clean-upIn line with the celebration of the 26th Provincial Environment Week with the theme: “Beat Plastic Pollution; If You Can’t Reuse It, Refuse It,” as well as the implementation of City Ordinance No. 06-2009 declaring the fourth week of the month of June every year as the City Environment Week, the City of Victorias held its Environment Week from June 25-29, 2018. The purpose of the activity is to increase and heighten the awareness and promote participation of all Victoriahanon and to rehabilitate the environment. The Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias joined and participated in the “Adlaw sang Suba kag Barangay” -Malihaw River Clean-Up Activity last June 28, 2018 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. It was attended by the organization, offices and schools within the city. There were nearly sixty students from the Criminal Justice Education Department assisted by the Dept. Coordinator, Mr. Joeberto J. Mayote, Mr. Rolan Baterna and Ms. Desiree V. De Guzman. NATIONAL DISASTER RESILIENCE MONTH The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (VCDRRMO) celebrated the National Disaster Resilience Month with the theme “Katatagan sa Kalamidad ay Makakamtan Kapag Sapat ang Kaalaman sa Kahandaan”. The Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias joined in the Motorcade activity held last July 2, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. LGUs and private agencies were some of the participants during the parade. The parade started at the public plaza, rounded the city, until they reached the Victorias City Coliseum Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. There were a total 56 students from the Criminal Justice Education Department with the participations of Mr. Joeberto J. Mayote, Mr. Rolan Baterna and Ms. Desiree V. De Guzman. 6SAB 6th Year Founding Anniversary .. Fun Run The Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF), Special Action Battalion based in Sagay City, Negros Occidental with several momentous achievement on its campaign against insurgency and terrorism, supported by other Law Enforcement Agencies in the fight against criminality and maintaining peace and order in Visayas; celebrated their sixth year anniversary with the Fun Run and Zumba.
The Fun Run was held at the Sagay City Public Plaza last July 8, 2018 from 5 a.m. onwards. There were a total of 27 students from the Criminal Justice Education Department with their Department Coordinator Mr. Mr. Joeberto J. Mayote, Mr. Rolan Baterna, Ms. Roby Baterna and one of the alumni: Ms. Lovely Baterna joined the 5K- Run which started at Sagay City Public Plaza- turning point (USAT) Universal Science of Applied Technology School entrance gate. |
