This is a four year degree program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills in business management and office processes needed in different workplaces such as general business offices, legal or medical offices. The BSOA program prepares students to be able to carry out clerical, administrative, supervisory and managerial tasks.
Specializations within this program are; Office Management, Computer Education and Computer Secretarial. The Curriculum (see below) contains both core courses in Business and Office Administration including accounting, finance, marketing, management, shorthand, report writing etc and a series of elective courses tailored to the students specialization including specialized office procedures (legal & medical), business law and taxation, customer relations and entrepreneurship.
The program is taught through classroom lectures and hands on exercises with additional talks, seminars and symposiums.
